After working for over 20 years as a registered nurse in the emergency department and flight nurse (helicopter and fixed-wing), I chose to continue that career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I wanted to become more vested in the care and livelihood of the community  I served. Now, I further support my patients as part of a care team to deliver personalized and holistic care to meet their needs. I believe that the best way to provide awesome patient care is to acknowledge each patient’s individuality and meet them on their level.  This can be achieved while staying patient focused and keeping the patient at the center during the decision-making process. Patient care is conveyed with an emphasis on education while building a therapeutic relationship. I enjoy all aspects of family medicine, whether working with specialty care such as LGBQT, men/women-health and beauty. I am a mom of three adult children, and in my spare time, I like traveling anywhere a cruise line takes me and playing mind-boggling puzzle games on my phone.
